Eis Rutzon: Shmulik Klein's Touching and Timely Single "Veschanan"
Amidst the ongoing challenges facing the Jewish community in Israel and abroad, Shmulik Klein releases a deeply moving and relevant new single, "Veschanan." Composed by Moshe Kalish and arranged by Yehuda Galili, the song speaks directly to the heart, offering a message of hope and connection through prayer.
This song was born from an unexpected meeting between Shmulik and Moshe Kalish in the Belz Beis Midrash. As they discussed the personal and communal struggles many are facing today, Moshe was inspired by the powerful teaching of the Ropshitzer Rebbe: "Whenever I pray, it will be a time of favor." This idea—that in any moment, prayer has the power to reach the heavens—became the essence of "Veschanan."
Shmulik brought Yehuda Galili on board for the production, whose arrangement perfectly captures the emotional depth of the song. Mendy Goldberg's unique choral work adds an extra layer of warmth and sensitivity to the piece.
The accompanying music video portrays individuals at their most vulnerable moments, each turning to prayer as a source of strength, no matter the situation.
The single is dedicated to the complete recovery of the composer, Yosef Meir ben Roiza Bluma Faiga.
