Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang delivered a clear message of support to the company’s employees in Israel as the war with Iran and Hezbollah continues, telling staff he is “very worried” and urging them to stay safe. Speaking at Nvidia’s annual GTC conference in San Jose, Huang emphasized that the company stands firmly behind its Israeli workforce, referring to them as “our families in Israel” and making it clear that the situation is being taken personally at the highest level of the company.

The remarks highlight just how central Israel has become to Nvidia’s global operations. Since acquiring Mellanox in 2019, the company has built a major presence in the country, with more than 5,000 employees working on critical technologies that power its AI and data infrastructure. Several of Nvidia’s key products have been developed in Israel, making it one of the company’s most important hubs worldwide. Huang had planned a visit to Israel in April, but that trip is now uncertain due to the ongoing conflict, underscoring both the challenges on the ground and Nvidia’s continued commitment to its Israeli team during a critical moment.
